Tigger, our Lurcher, and Callah, our little Jack Russell cross, are part of our life at The Cherrybrook, and guests with well behaved dogs are always welcome, their dogs being free of charge.
Our 3 acres of meadows are particularly suited for dog owners and we have created a maze of small mown paths for those early morning and late evening walks.
We can also help dog owners with longer walks and can provide details of dog friendly walks ranging from 1 to 3 miles, all starting and finishing at The Cherrybrook. These walks are all stile free, and should be easy to follow with directions and maps provided. Click here for further details.
Not all our guests will be bringing a dog and we would ask that all dog owners respect those guests who may not enjoy four legged company. In particular we would ask that dogs are not allowed to climb onto beds or furniture and that should your dog soil the paths or mown areas, please clean up using the dog-poop bags provided.
Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant at any time and must not be left in a room unattended, unless in a dog crate. The usual practice is to leave your dog in your car during breakfast and evening meals. Dogs may be allowed in the bar after the evening meal if other guests are happy with this.
